1. Nature of Clinical Services
Psychotherapy is a collaborative process between clinician and client. It involves discussing personal details which may temporarily evoke strong feelings. The outcome of therapy depends largely on your active participation.
emergency Emergency Situations
KARA is not an emergency crisis center. If you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm or immediate crisis, please contact local emergency services immediately or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.

Consistency is key to effective therapeutic outcomes. When an appointment is scheduled, that time is reserved exclusively for you.
24-Hour Policy
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, or failure to attend a scheduled session (No-Show), will incur the full session fee.
Late Arrivals
Sessions are typically 50 minutes. If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time to accommodate other clients, and the full fee will apply.
